- Functional Capacity Evaluations
- A Functional Capacity Evaluation is an assessment for people who have sustained injuries that could affect their employment. The worker's ability to perform work and their physical tolerances to a variety of real and/or simulated work activities is assessed.
- Rehabilitation Programs
- Occupational Rehabilitation 1 Program (OR1P) - WCB
This is a structured, active rehabilitation program focused on return to work through physical and functional conditioning. This program is directed by a physiotherapist and kinesiologist.
- Work Hardening Program (WHP) –3rd Party eg.ICBC, Extended Health
This is an interdisciplinary, individualized, job specific program of activity with the goal of return to work and life. The WHP uses real or simulated work tasks and progressively graded conditioning exercises that are based on the individual’s measured tolerance.
